Enac+

Moving to Learn

The project

The internationalization strategy that ENAC – Ente Nazionale Canossiano has written together with its associated centres reflects the political and economic context in which it operates and the challenges that the VET sector is facing at national and European level.
This new project for students and staff mobility is conceived in this context too and contributes, in fact, to achieve one of the ENAC internationalization strategy’s objectives, namely that of “Promoting the internationalization of the training offer of the Canossian VET centres” and, in particular, the operational objective of “Improving the quantity and quality of outgoing mobility”.

Project's Goals

More generally, with this and other new Erasmus+ projects in which ENAC is partner or leader, we want to contribute to the economic and social prosperity of the context(s) in which we operate by providing staff and students with the opportunity to develop international competences and to deal with training institutions abroad, promoting the exchange of good practices and innovation processes.

Activities

As per the VET Mobility Charter application form, this project is for students and staff members who study/work in the vocational training centres/schools of the Canossian network active in six Italian regions in order to develop their professional and transversal skills through the following activities:
  • Internship abroad for students in initial vocational training in a company for a period of 3/4 weeks;
  • Internship abroad for students in initial vocational training in a VET centre with learning periods in companies or in another relevant context for a period of 3/4 weeks;
  • Internship abroad for newly qualified and/or newly-graduated in a company for a period of 3/4 months;
  • Job shadowing activities in companies and/or VET centres abroad for the staff for 4/5 days
  • Advance planning visits for a good organization of the longest students mobility, i.e. ErasmusPro
For the first time students with special needs are also expected to participate.
The use of the ECVET system is envisaged for the enhancement and recognition of learning outcomes acquired abroad. Therefore the ECVET tools developed in the GORES project and improved in previous mobility projects will be used.
In order to guarantee the principle of equal opportunities, all the sectors in which the institution is active will be involved: Agribusiness (Bakery and Pastry, Agriculture), Arts and Crafts (Fashion), Graphics, Administrative, Tourism and Catering, Personal Service (Beauty and Hairdressing).

Partners

Thanks to the preparation meetings held with the sending organizations, it has been possible to identify the needs of students and staff linked to the mobility and consequently work to identify the partners that could respond to them in the best way.
A partnership of about 22 organizations from different countries (Belgium, Finland, France, Ireland, Malta, the Netherlands, United Kingdom and Spain) has been then created, able, by number and quality, to ensure an educational experience suitable for the professional profiles of students and staff.
